Here’s how you can make the change in Sage Pastel Evolution, make sure you have logged in with a user with Administrator rights and then ussing the system tree or the menu system, select the Common |Tax Types



The following screen will be displayed:



The system will display the current GST rate in use, you now have a choice to edit an existing code or to add a new rate, it is advisable to change the rate on the existing codes and add a new tax type that will reference the old rate, and this will save time in changing the defaults across the system. We would recommend that you speak to your Authorized Business Partner for advice in this area.
